Data Science
Send us the records you already keep on your livestock or crops. We turn them into clear insights on behaviour, production and efficiency.
Learn more →Vision. Data. Insights.
Agrioptic helps producers turn farm data and camera footage into behavioural, production and efficiency insights they can act on.
What we do
Start with the data you already have, get advice on a vision system, or use ours end to end.

Data science and machine vision support a wide range of projects. These are some of them, but if you have a question that data or cameras could answer, we would like to hear it.
Compare growth, activity, feeding and health between treatment groups, measured continuously rather than on weigh days alone.
Measure intake, growth and feed conversion across diets, and see how feeding behaviour changes along the way.
Pick up early signs such as reduced feeding, lameness or changes in lying behaviour, so problems are checked sooner.
Estimate size and weight from camera images, without handling animals or stopping work.
Find out where output, labour and resources are going, and which changes have actually paid off.
Test how well a sensor or system performs against reference measurements before you buy or sell it.
How it works
Your existing records, or data from cameras and sensors in barns, pens and fields.
Machine vision and statistical models that measure what is actually happening, animal by animal and day by day.
Plain reports and dashboards that point to the changes worth making, and show whether they worked.
Why we exist
Records sit in spreadsheets and software exports. Cameras record hours of footage nobody has time to watch. The signals that matter, like an animal eating less, a change in movement, or a slow drift in efficiency, are in there, but hard to see.
We combine data analysis with machine vision to bring those signals to the surface, and we present them in a way that fits how producers actually work.
Tell us about your operation and what you want to know. We will tell you honestly whether we can help.
